In an interview with the press, Shimakura Rika says after her study abroad, she wants to stay with Upfront.

She also revealed that she would study abroad after graduation. 'I haven't told anyone where I'm going yet, but it will be for about a year. I want to learn English and broaden my cultural horizons.' She said that she would like to stay in her agency and work on her solo activities after returning to Japan, covering Showa-era songs.

I think I've done my best as BEYOOOOONDS, so I'm going to make a break and do my best as a second performing artist. I will do my best to hold a wonderful concert at the Budokan. I hope you will continue to support me until I graduate.
