I was thinking how nice a group name "Morning Musume." is when Okubo-san, the arranger, happened to ask me to write the lyrics for this song.
The word is not "girl," "maiden," or "girl," but "daughter!

And it's not just "daughter," it's "daughter." and says it clearly and unambiguously.
Oh, Saikou! (it's the best!) Actually SaiKIYOU! I wrote the lyrics of the song with the hope that new members and veteran members alike would sing a song that clearly and unequivocally says that about themselves.

I am honored to compose and arrange the first single of the new Morning Musume. '24 led by the new leader, Ikuta Erina.
The song was appropriate for the Brand New "Morning Musume," so I was very excited to work on it.
I was very nervous and stimulated as I worked on the song.

And after much trial and error, we finally got it.
Stylish! Energetic! The shuffle beat of "New Jack Swing" was adopted to satisfy my own desire to "see Musume. singing and dancing!
Cool and exciting, but also emo and heartbreaking. We aimed to create a song with a mixture of these various emotions.
The performance is fresh and bouncy! Each of the 13 members' individuality explodes in this song.
It makes me smile naturally. It's the best!

Nandaka Sentimental na Toki no Uta MV. I honestly really like the song even though I'm not usually fond of slower songs.

Also I know this hasn't been announced or anything, but with Ayumin on the thumbnail, I wonder if this is her last single. I was kind of hoping MM would get an extraordinary 2 singles this year.
