^I didn't say the "best H!P group"
Although I think J=J would rock this song since they have the vocal talent.
SaiKIYOU is a B-side or Album song at best,

Cats Eye was a cover of an older song, loads of people have covered it, and it was done for a stage play plus unless you went out of your way to buy an import we were stuck with a 480p YT video. Not really the same as a brand new single they've done live, what, twice? There's truckloads of H!P songs that quietly go without being performed live for many years. A lot of very good ones...
It's a bit unfair to judge a song when you haven't even heard it properly. No need to rush to conclusions.
Man, I might actually watch a Momusu MV on release day just to see what's going on with the song.

Okay, I've listened to both songs several times now and I'm just not hearing it. I think they're both fine. Actually, I now rather like Nandaka, which I was on the fence about the first time I heard it. Like I am really trying to get what everyone is complaining about and I'm just not.
On a tangential note, I don't get what's up with folks always saying stuff sounds like a b-side, like b-sides are lesser quality. MM's coupling collections are great; heck once you get into the Colorful Era some of that stuff is better than their a-sides. Also 'Fall the Rain' by Michiyo is the best song H!P has ever released.

^on that note I’m pretty sure one of their B-sides became an A-side because it was better received (Do the Hustle replaced by “The Big Fish that got away 2”)

I watched this one, I don't get the hate lmao

. It sounds like one of the better songs they've done in recent years. The vocals are shouty but that'll be, hopefully, smoothed out in the final version and the members will get used to singing more lines in time.

UFP may have gotten the same marketing tips as NewJeans then. Their Japanese debut single "Supernatural" was being called new jack swing. I wouldn't even bring it up if "new jack swing" wasn't so
specific.

After a few listens, it is not as bad. They did something weird with Reina's rap at the end. The MV is okay.

I like the song and holy moly it helps to hear more voices from them it's just...still shouty when they go unison. Dropping the key for those parts would have probably get the song from 95% to 100%. I haven't heard a song be so darn shouty since Anju's Dondengaeshi and it really just hampers the quality.
I'll put this on my car mix for autumn tho!
