Plus, I sort of doubt that the Japanese target market is going to have the same kind of visceral reaction of "that's an ugly/awkward English word" that an English speaker might have. It's like, y'know, one of these in reverse:
All a non-Chinese reading person knows is that it looks cool and has no conception of whether it is meaningful or awkward. The true meaning doesn't really matter much unless one cares to investigate. (And if you do, unlike the above photo, the pun turns out to be pretty clever after all.)
