I recently realized how interested/invested I have become in Hashimoto Nagisa, noticing her being picked for performances lately (opening act for °C-ute's concert, etc). Really hoping her age doesn't prove to be much of a hurdle for her debuting within Hello! Project.

Wasn't there an egg that lasted until her 20s? So I wouldn't give up much hope for girls like Nagisa/Kizuki/Kaede/Reina/Yuumei. If they really honestly want this, they'll do whatever is possible for them to do it. Even if that means they still in the program until age 21.

EDIT: Not Anri, she's 24 now.

EDIT2: Found her. Hirano Tomomi. She was older than everyone in H!P around the time she joined.

That felt like a different type of situation. I don't think anyone actually thought Tomomi was ever going to debut, and she never directly said anything about it. There was a lot of speculation on why she was there, and I believe she's the only person to have been added over the age of 18.

I look at Yuka as a non-standard success story because of her age and the unusual way she eventually made it into H!P. It would be nice if it worked out. (It would also be nice to add another name to the list of now-members that participated in the 2011 S/mileage audition).

Whoa Nagisa is 18.
I wonder considering her age if they have plans for her within the company and just needed to train her first.

She was already 17 when she transferred from the Nice Girl trainees to the H!P Kenshuusei. Up Front must see something in her that they kept her on back then.

Maybe she's already selected to be a part of Miyabi's group, just waiting on some more suitable candidates from the audition to form the group.

They're definitely giving Nagisa a push though. It's not like they're not giving her anything to do. I mean damn, the last Hello! Project concert she was one of the mains for a debuted H!P member central dance/acro routine. That's pretty big for her, it's not like everyday KSS get opportunities like those. I'm sure UFP have something in store for her, I'm hoping it Miyabi's group though. She's mature enough and talented enoug to fit in with Miyabi.

I personally hope she's able to make it into H!P proper since she's been trying for a while now (not that others haven't), but Miyabi's group would definitely be nice too.

Yeah I'm with you guys in hoping she gets put into Miyabi's group. Tsunku wouldn't have kept her around without a reason in my opinion so if she doesn't get that then maybe something else could be in the works.
