It's a bit different. From my understanding of what Wiki says, the inner wall of the aorta tore, causing blood to flow between all the layers of the aorta. It seems to be related to high blood pressure as well.

Heart stuff is really complicated, though (I would know). Trying to describe any of it to anyone is confusing, especially once you start getting technical.

Mano is just way too thin

It's also the type of clothes they put her in and some of the poses/angles, like the top middle picture and the red dress picture. Also, the shadows ate up her legs in the first bottom picture.

She really isn't. She's very slender, true, but she looks perfectly healthy as can be seen in recent interviews.

^ At 7:41 to 7:57, and then again at 9:34 to 9:43.

I'm not sure that helps rather than hurts the case, however. To me, she looks thin in that video as well. She used to be built like Eri Kamei (if people know what I mean), but not anymore.

^ You possibly may have commented yourself once or twice how J-celebs often quickly lose their baby fat, and I think that's in play here. Not to mention watching her weight for the movie so she could continue to successfully portray a high school student. She's definitely much slimmer, there's no denying it, but not unhealthily so, I think. She still looks in the normal spectrum for Japanese women to me. A friend of mine is about her height and weight and looks really great all the time in any kind of outfit.

As to the larger issue, I admit that whether her weight looks more or less appealing is totally a matter of personal taste, but I wish in general that people here wouldn't make statements in a way that can be interpreted to conflate their personal physical preferences with what's healthy or appropriate. E.g. "She's too fat." Is that "too fat for my tastes" "too fat to be an idol" "too fat to be healthy" "too fat to look food in that outfit"? And considering that a great many people are sensitive / struggling with weight issues, is it really productive to keep harping on the same issues over and over? I'm not saying people can't voice their opinions. It's not even close to being a mod/admin matter. I'm just saying for me personally as jplop member Zunu, these casually asserted "too fat" "too skinny" remarks get really irksome.

Well, yes, but then it seems we're talking about two different things; "Healthy/Unhealthy" and "Fat/Thin" are not necessarily on the same chart, much less on the same axis.
