The Random thread, if anywhere.

This thread, like most of the rest of this forum, is for pop culture.

By the way, when you post something, consider the point you're trying to make and whether it has any discussion value. That short is pretty straightforward. (I'd even say it's platitudinous, but that's me.) There's not much in it to discuss, other than maybe "Hey, the Greeks deal with this stuff, too." So unless you think someone here is racist and needs to be sent a message, what's your point?

...My point is it's an interesting short and I feel like others should watch it. Maybe they'll think "hmm someone i know could need a use of watching this!" and they'll send it to them.

Why do you say "should"? Why do you think people "should" watch an anti-racism PSA from Greece? What purpose would that serve, particularly here on this forum? Who do you think needs that sort of education? Has anyone here given you any reason to believe that they are racist or that they associate with racists?

The Anne puppet previewed from the animation test for Ari Folman's possible "Anne Frank" film is lovely. I hope they're able to turn it into a full stop-motion project.

The Sesame Street one has me in stitches. I got the 4th Season Box set for my birthday so I need to try and watch that soon. Living in Japan has made catching this show much harder.

Every time Grover and Ned announced "MUSIC!!!" my ears were expecting them to follow up with "SUTAATO!"

I'm glad Game of Thrones is back. :notworthy:

I'm using HBO Now so I can watch the episodes right away.

Ditto, on both counts.

I don't know why, but I was most excited to see that both Kevan and Lancel Lannister are back. I knew Lancel was, but I wasn't sure about Kevan. He seemed to be one of those forgotten, early-season characters that would never come back. I hope he'll be as prominent in the show as he is in the books, at this point in the story.

Anyhow, a look back…

…and a look ahead…
