Since people were talking about KPop being bigger than JPop in the musings/rants thread...
KPop is generally more accessible by international audiences than JPop is.
Most official channels aren't region restricted, have full videos, 1080p, and closed captions for translations.
A lot of acts also go to different countries/continents. Example: Amoeba Culture is coming to Atlanta and I'm really pissed about it.
Whether anyone likes it or not is all a matter of personal preference, but more people will find it because it's easier to find it.

Starra...working my way slowly through that list but I just want to say that that BELLRING Shoujo Heart album (BedHead) is incredible. Just when I was feeling a bit jaded. I like want to write a song about how good it is. Ugh. Mou. Whatever.

I like K-Pop from the late 90s up to the mid 2000s wayyyyyy more than some of the more recent stuff.
edit: The SeeYa sounds like something from current K-Pop that I can get into. I did really like the original SeeYa. I love this song.

I didn't listen to BoA's latest Japanese album properly when it was released, but gosh... this is probably one of her best ballads. It gets better and better as the song goes on.
