its announced that Yaguchi Mari resumes activities and is appearing sometime next week on NTV's news and politics show "Jouhou Live Miyane-ya". the shows airs weekdays at 1:55pm. They say she'll apologize in her own voice.

I'll never get used to how the Japanese adopt Western holidays like Valentine's Day, Halloween, and Christmas. Obviously it's a marketing push with no cultural foundation, and obviously it works because the Japanese like gimmicky fads. But still, it's just weird to see these things even more commercialized than they are here in America.
