The translator: random, clueless, and hired at the last minute. XD

Communicating / hanging out together: In my experience, people can usually manage to find each other if they have some channels of communication and make some basic meetup arrangements -- all of which can actually be pretty haphazard and still work, as long as people try to connect.

My recommendations: Go to Hello! Party and hang out with Kita.
And.... Oh, that's right -- see Morning Musume. XD

That's what the translator is going to be. :P some guy that probably has never even heard of Momusu. XD

That's why i'm saying that we should have a meet-up time and relative location... it makes things easier to track, yanno?

I can't go to Hello! Party; just going to the concert. :P

I went to that venue for another event, and even though the tickets said SRO, (at that time, anyway) there were rows of stadium type seats in the back half of the auditorium for people who preferred to sit.

Standing Room Only, ie just a big hall with no chairs.

I guess this means that there is zero chance of my participating in the handshake event.

It's hard to say how things are going to work with regard to the handshake tickets. Will they be available as soon as people get inside the venue, or not until the concert is over? The information we have is still rather vague.

Concert merch is usually on sale as soon as the doors open, so I'm going to assume that early entry means a better shot at handshake tickets, but they could very well throw us a curve ball.

Where are you staying?

I'll be at the Mayfair Hotel.

There are 200 VIP tickets, so the first people with regular tickets would still be close enough to the stage, depending on how big the place is.

Judging from what I saw on the outside, it isn't colossal. :P
BUT...
it is pretty big. They have the back section rise up so you can see, apparently.
