It's times like these where I hate how Oricon stopped counting across-sea-sales. >.<
I HOPE MOMUSU IS THE ONE!!!!
I hope Tsunku and UF* realize what kind of crazy-ass promotion they gotta do to beat them.

My little sisters are happy because the release will be on their birthday. : )
Speaking of which, why 9/17 and not on 9/16 ?
Wed Jul 16, 2014 7:39 am
.....because 9/17 is a wednesday...? Why would it be 9/16??
And that's awesome, next year on 7/15 if a single is released, it will be released on my birthday.
C-ute single is releasing tomorrow, a day after mine.

Because Oricon starts counting from Tuesdays, and I had assumed that the release dates were almost always Tuesdays too. I'm confused now.

Expecting a change of date. It would be absolutely terrible if Sayumi's last single didn't rank #1. All this work for nothing. What a legacy.

And that's exactly why they won't change the date - she'll have to go out with a bang.
None of the other #1s had much competition, so it wasn't much of a problem. now, for the final one, she iwll have to fight for it!!!

Oricon Weekly counts sales from Monday to Sunday. So those releases on the middle of the week will indeed lose a few days from the weekly chart.
Those who go with the 'tradition' of releasing on Wednesday will only lose one day though (Monday) because the stores always start stocking the new releases the day before release date (flying-get day), so people can buy their copies on Tuesday. That, plus preorder, is Tuesday sales, which is the number you get on Wednesday.

:O
Wait what?
I knew about the losing 2 days...
but...
I didn't know that they are released on wednesday because of "tradition"... i thought it was the day things are released.

Sexy Zone will probably be promoted like shit by their company.
http://aramajapan.com/news/music/new-se ... sato/2794/3/5 of the members will participate in their new single. So fans are somewhat upset. Sohee follows JE more closely, so she'd probably understand the impact of this more.
So there's still a chance (unless this single becomes a massive hit).
