DAY 1 #sayu25_bus
so they did get to see her after all. there was a party planned.
after the H!P concert, Sayu immediately went to her FC Bus event to greet her fans where they did their first activity, a countdown party together for her 25th birthday. a pink cake, a pink princess dress with a tiara, a pink filled room.
So... do you think Japanese companies realize this song is still copyrighted, or they just don't care and sing it anyway? I always wondered that.
Seeing those outfits up close, I like the red and pattern in those S/mileage costumes. The white ones on the other hand. Not so much. (It also looks like they might have messed up on their dance?)
Looks like the trainees got some new outfits during C-ute song.

Since Warner claims it, and Warner Japan exists, I have to imagine that at least some know. Who knows how much they care.
Hopefully it will be in the public domain soon anyway. "If there ever was a copyright to the song," the plaintiffs contend, "it expired long ago, not later than 1921." - Variety
I wonder if tsunku's cancer is the reason why the set lists have become rather boring. I feel like Morning musume's set list was rather boring as well. Its like there are no surprises. I like surprises. It makes me wish I was at the concert and excited for the DVD content to come out. Oh well. Yappari should have the shuffles and therefore be much more exciting right?
If that's the case, someone else should take over the setlist job whilst he recovers. Tbh, he's probably overworked with everything (all the music side of things, the two auditions going on, concerts, etc). I understand that he most likely still wants to do everything as he has been, but...
I don't think it's Tsunku to be honest...I feel like H!P's concerts have been half stale ever since at least the 9th Gen joined. Though like many people said their summer concerts really are half current selection and the other more varied.
I do agree though, I wish Momusu didn't have that lock into their songs. I wanna see more of their catalog shining and not see stuff 3-4 concerts in a row...and LOVE Machine doesn't really count.
