If it was just a one time thing I doubt they would have made her go ~solo~. But rather just made it a "special project".
Something will come, I'm sure.

its pretty cool. they show side by side the movie version of her reaction with Kikka's actual reaction in what happened in real life.

Agreed. Over in the media appearances for the Kikkawa Yuu x Mano Erina thing they're continuing to push Mano as their "#1 push (ichioshi)" and Kikka as "Big New Artist (oogata shinjin)".
I think if it was a "special project" they wouldn't have pushed her as an oogata shinjin artist nor would they have continued to do it.

Besides, she's on TV all the time. Not on prime-time TV but she writes about being on TV in her blog (cell phone mails and such) all the time. They keep trying to push her. (:
I do hope we get a single soon though. <3

For some reason I've forgotten to mention this.

Or maybe I did, elsewhere.
A couple of weeks ago Kikka wrote in her blog (cell phone blog) that she went to record something. She didn't mention a single or anything, simply "Today I had recording!" but still. (: Enough proof of that there is something happening. :3

And that couldn't be in reference to a TV show or something? Do they use a different verbs for video recording and audio recording?
Wed Jul 06, 2011 1:27 am
They do.
TV recording is 収録 (shuuroku) while CD recording is レコーディング (recording). :3
Filming for dvds, PVs, movies and such is 撮影 (satsuei) which means "to shoot" (though look it up and it will say 'to photograph' or something similar) and is also used for when they take promotional pictures and have photoshoots for magazines and such.

From Kikka's mail this morning.
She performed her new song "ハピラピ~Sunrise~" (Hapirapi~Sunrise~) at the recording of "Sataten" on Thursday.
When it'll air? No idea. She says he'll inform us more about release date and such later.
