I think someone said this awhile back but I think Tsunku can get away with making an big group made up for the kenshuusei.

Just call them HPK48

I mean, now that there's this new Kashou Egg system, and the girls actually have to go through Kashou Egg to be HPK , it wouldn't be a bad idea if HPK is declared an actual unit.

Albeit, they're still going to be considered "sub" in comparison to the actual HP units like Morning Musume and the rest, but I think we're at a point where most, if not all, the HPK are at ATLEAST decent or good.

I mean, this MV for Oheso no Kuni Kara Konnichiha is kinda pointing towards that idea, where HPK are starting to get songs and MVs more often.

Well, I'm not saying they need to declare HPK as a unit. As long as they keep getting songs and MVs I think that's enough to give them exposure or "unit" feel

If Tsunku wanted to do a copy of AKB he would have, a long time ago.

They're called Hello! Project Kenshuusei because that's what they are. They already work as a group, I don't get what else you guys want. They probably never will debut as Kenshuusei but as it is they're an indies group where members come and go etc. Just like Eggs were a group on their own and Hello! Project Kids too until C-ute got their name.

As Kenshuusei are already getting SO MUCH MORE than trainees ever got in H!P, that itself is a reason enough to have that pre-Egg system that they're getting. They release indie singles and get original songs, they get to do music videos, they have pretty regular lives, they have a TV show and get to go out and meet other celebrities despite just being a trainee of average 13 years old that no one ever has heard of, they get to be backdancers for their admired senpai, they get to be in magazines... and eventually probably most of them get to debut in one way or another. Though there will forever be those that never will too, of course.

I feel like they've really distinguished themselves from the kenkyuusei method of training in AKB.
HP is way better and debuting and promoting new girls unlike AKB.
