Doesn't she have to have a guardian living with her in Tokyo? It is questionable if her mom is not with her in Tokyo, but that means that her little sister should have been with her all along in Tokyo too.

He's not a newborn, not as we think of the word. He's several months old. What Chisato actually said is 産まれたばかり (umareta bakari), which can mean "the most recently born" when you remember that she's the oldest of five.

When her mother was due earlier this year, Chisato took over a lot of the household chores including making breakfast for everyone each morning, which she blogged about.

My beloved grandpa passed away the other day.

It was my train grandpa。

When everyone was watching some scary TV show, he’d go out of his way to climb up into the attic and surprise us by coming down with dust all over his face

He loved trains, and just models weren’t enough for him so he bought a real train

He loved animals, and so owned dogs･cats･rabbits･white doves･ducks, and lots of other things

He also loved cameras and motorcycles

was very knowledgeable about plants

so was really a fun grandpa。

At the funeral the priest said, 「He was someone who thought it best to live an innocent life like this。Though it was probably tough on the family around him, no?」

Our relatives also said about grandpa that, 「We did these kinds of pranks long agoー」 or 「He bought things like this for meー」 and on and on……

Though it was incredibly sad、aside from the sadness it was also a ceremony with all kinds of surprising stories that came out。

I was also indecisive about various things like, “How should I report this to everyone？” or、”When？”。

Though I’m enjoying our concerts from my heart…
I’d think, “I wonder what grandpa would think of me having fun like this？” and would suddenly get uneasy
(Though grandpa wasn’t such a weak-hearted person like that…)

or “Will I start crying when everyone’s talking to me at events?”…

Lots of different things、but I thought after reaching the 7th day memorial service
that I’d be okay to talk about it as well、and so made today’s report。

I’m sorry this isn’t a fun blog。

But I wrote it since I really wanted to report about it to everyone。

Grandpa、thanks for so many things up until now

Tomorrow is one of Mizuki’s beloved concerts
Since it’s in Maaーchan’s home area of Hokkaido

Ayumi is normally a stickler for keigo, so she probably just called "Eripon" or "Eritan" instead of "Ikuta-san". But it could have been something more… interesting.
