It would be cute if two groups fight for debut only if after a series of campaigns tsunku appears and surprise surprise lets them both debut. Then the two groups can have a relationship similar to berikyuu.

It might be good exposure.

Like say they did similar to the smile campaign like s/mileage or if it was similar to the Yattaruchan daisakusen and they got to be on the screens in Tokyo and Osaka haha

I agree, the new group should wait until Juice=Juice gets a few more singles out, i'm guessing...by the time they sell 150k? Maybe that's around 2-3 maybe 4 more singles after Romance no Tochuu.

I really want the debut process to be epic, different, and challenging. Honestly, doing that gives KSS more push to work harder, and after all that they do even to those who didn't make it, they will still learn that they can push themselves and work harder and they're that much steps closer to debuting. Then again, just naming a group of girls and saying they're gonna be a new group will still get us excited, but how much more fun if we get trolled into a fun little competition?

Maybe they should just have KSS cover more songs and concerts, and make that a competition. Right now there are 28 KSS (I think...) and 28 officially debuted members (excluding J=J). They can all pretty much cover each unit and go about the formations that way. Kinda like that competition that Wada Sakurako and Tanabe Nanami won, where they are evaluated by Tsunku, few more judges, and the crowd, except they'll be in groups this time. They can try rotating so that they experience each type of group song/choreography. Then, Tsunku can either decide to add KSS to some of the existing groups (though that's just me saying add Fuyuka back to S/mileage XD) and/or debut girls into a new unit. I don't know, this might sound too complicated or too plain, but I honestly like KSS covering songs, which I don't see a lot of videos of, so yeah XD Then again, I am not well knowledgeable about a lot of stuff since i'm still relatively new...like J=J new.

I just don't want any of these awesome girls to go to waste and I'd like more units just based on that.

Also, H!P had way more main units than just 5 many years ago. If they keep the rest of the KSS units small then I think it'd be okay.

I would like one 7-member unit though.

A 7 nin group would be nice. It's odd so it'll have a center, and it fits pretty much all my favorite KSS:
Murota Mizuki, Yoshihashi Kurumi, Tanabe Nanami, Hamaura Ayano, Taguchi Natsumi, Wada Sakurako, Sasaki Risako.
That group would be so cute, and vocally powerful imo.
Though I wouldn't mind Kosuga Fuyuka in that list, I would rather want her in S/mileage, where she began.
Maybe if they push for a 4 more people to debut somehow: Ichioka Reina, Ogawa Rena, Kaga Kaede, and Kishimoto Yumeno.

I think I just named almost half of KSS...At this point I think they waited long enough...I mean even Fuyuka was considered for debut and she didn't exactly have the strongest voice nor was she the cutest/prettiest out of the bunch att. I'm sure leaving the other half would be beneficial so that they can be given more attention to by the singing and dancing instructors.

Personally, I feel like the only use Hamachan would have *going by her past performances* is either to join S/mileage or form a new, "cute" group because she has high squeaky vocals IMHO and of course add Kosuga too because it's well deserved at this point.

Though a 7-nin of Murota, Yoshihashi, Kaneko, Tanabe, Sasaki, Ogawa, and Kaga would be amazing!!! If they went for an 8th member, I would honestly add Inaba to that list as well.

For the rest....Iono...like I said Hamaura and Kosuga seems like perfect additions to S/mileage

Taguchi seems like the wild card for me so she can go either way...

Yamagishi and Nomura hasn't really impressed me yet (though they are cute to the max!)

Ichioka, Kishimoto, Wada, and Makino still needs some work (though Wada is prolly my favorite of the 4)

Mikame, Inoue, Tanaka, Fujii, and Mashiro...I still need time to really understand and follow them because besides their performance of Please Miniskirt Postwoman, they haven't blipped on my radar (except Fujii from the S/mileage auditions).

The 12 Gen finalists...give them a LOT of time to grow on me lol

That wasn't a competition, it was a test that they have had every year it was just made public/for the fans this year.

As for units... it would be interesting if they could do the Johnnys jr. thing and actually create units but keep them within Kenshuusei. No guarantee that they will debut IN those units, but at least they get the taste of being a smaller unit, too.

I want a 10 member group or something next time. Something that hasn't been done before (not counting Ongaku Gatas or Morning Musume) and like I said, have subunits within the group from the start. Would be awesome.

Wow, I keep spurting out incorrect information XD Guess i'm still a newbie hehe

Anyways, I think that's not a bad idea. Small units within KSS that, well, will pretty much continue what they were doing except they are in groups. Then they'd be able to do more cover performances and it might be easier to judge how they would act and how they compare to one another with all the dance formations, line distribution, etc. I'd be happy with that! At this point there's so many KSS that they can manage to do a lot of mini groups, even if they were all 5-6 they'd still have around 4-5 units. Well, hopefully Tsunku does SOMETHING. With him in charge we never know what's really gonna happen...

I would say that we need a new Berryz if Juice=Juice is to be the new C-ute although I am not sure what I should say about the number of girls in the group and the direction of their music. Many of the current Kenshuusei are much more proficient in singing and dancing when the H!P Kids started. Tsunku probably has some ideas in his mind already. And I also agree that some of the girls like Hama-chan should definitely join S/mileage.

On the other hands, the 7 new kenshuusei are very good already as expected from 12ki finalist. I am glad all of them except the kenshuusei offer. It looks like UF gave them a week to decide whether to join as kenshuusei after 12ki audition was over. I wonder if UF actually gave them some deals, like free training for 6 months or a year or something like that. I also wonder how girls who live in far away places like Nagoya and Osaka will manage the training.

I kinda like the Johnny's idea, where there would be indie units within KSS that may or may not debut. Didn't it take forever for Kis-My-Ft2 to debut?

^ Goodness, yes it did lol. Ya-Ya-Yah too, even though half of them were folded into Hey! Say! Jump and others were just left behind to graduate. I do like the idea of pre-debut sub units though, but if they become too attached to the line-ups but Tsunku has other plans to make a totally new group, I could see that leading to a lot of tears tbh. More painful than if they're just a big conglomeration where people are plucked out randomly lol.

lol knowing how YG works, thats never going to happen  they're going to win the show, hang around for a year, and then we'll get a news report later telling us how they broke up.
