Anime and games hardly is the best way to study Japanese.... xD
But yeah, because we're continuously exposed to English on a regular basis no matter where we live (TV, cartoons, music) even if it's not your mother tongue it's much easier to learn and get used to. Especially since most countries (I think?) have English as a basic part of education quite early on.

I learnt English basically by playing RPG videogames and reading game magazines when I was young, so I guess it's pretty easy to learn (then I took some classes but they were boring those were useful though)

I'm still struggling with basic-intermediate Japanese. Without living over there, I think it's a pretty hard language to learn (damn those kanjis! )

A while ago in a concert MC Sayu mentioned how she's been giving away some of her old clothes to the other members. She was looking forward to seeing their happy reactions and how they would write about it in their respective blogs but no one actually did

...and then just the other day, Sayu blogged about how happy she was after Eri gave her some of her old clothes

Other than how Ikuta looks surprisingly good in Sayu's clothes (Riho seems to think that it'd be better if she always dress like that ) I'm even more surprised that Sayu's old clothes would even fit Fukuhime considering well, you know their differences ...
