Welcome to Hello!Project Survivor, the annual JPlop experience based off of the hit 2000 CBS reality gameshow where dozens of competitors are put on an island and made to fight and be voted out until one reigns supreme. H!PS is almost exactly the same, except that it's on a forum, the girls are voted out via polls, and most of the fighting is done between forum members.
Specific voting rules are likely to change from round to round, so keep a vigilant eye.

My own, personal agenda:
For quite a long time, the game's been very focused and strategy-driven, without a lot of noise and silliness (except for the arbitrary rule-changes which I think we can all agree are an absolutely necessary part of the game ). What I'd really, really, really like to see is a lot more noise, silliness, random, irrelevant spamming and off-topic nonsense, since that always was my favorite part of the game. I don't know if there's a way to encourage such behavior, but it would be nice (and it would also provide some cover to distract attention away from any potentially risky-if-found-out strategies, so it does serve a practical function in the game).

I lost most of my interest several years ago, when it became clear that a lot of the voting was being secretly coordinated through other channels. It's the first hour of the first round, and certain members already have so many votes that they are mathematically eliminated? All without a word in threads themselves? That doesn't happen spontaneously; even if everyone is using the same strategy to eliminate popular members in favor of personal favorites, there should be some deviation or disagreement regarding who counts as "popular". But there never seems to be.

I think that's also why recent years have been less "noisy", as you say.

Yeah, I know that such coordination can be part of the game, but my point is that it's not interesting. Reality shows like Survivor and Big Brother made it interesting by putting cameras everywhere and then editing the storylines together. That was the innovation.

Do the teams have to be non-overlapping? After all, there many H!P girls who want to be in the MizuKingdom, who want to be corrected by Tomoko, think Maeda Kokoro is all that, who want to be noticed by Takeuchi Akari-senpai, or who are under the spell of Maho Tsukai Sasaki Rikako.

Tbh I wasn’t sure wether or not Oota would be in this year’s survivor because her status is on hiatus, and it’s unclear wether or not she would return.

Side note, who knew last year would be the last survivor game for many members of H!P
