A hello station special? Hmm seems like we will be getting more than KSS after all…

I swear, if they announce the results on Twitter the day before again....

What audition did they do that for? I remember the results for the Momusu 25th anniversary (as well as Anju JuJu and KSSU24 debut) was anticlimactic and announced on the website so out of the blue

I think they did that to let the public media / press know ahead and allow them to have a source. It was a Morning Musume. audition, but they let us know that Kenshuusei were also joining ANGERME and Juice=Juice, which we didn't expect. In a way, the media was going to spread the news, which made it more hype for the Hello Station special.

They did opposite this time. They announced the Hello Station special first before the H!P site announcement.

This time on "Hello Station" we will be presenting the "Hello! Project 25th Anniversary" New Member Audition Announcement Special.
Thank you to all those who applied for the "Hello Project 25th Anniversary" new member audition held from June 2023.
We are pleased to announce that successful candidates have been chosen.

it is time for the big reveal.

Tsubaki Factory is getting new members (They passed the 5th round)
- 13 year old Doi Fuuka from Osaka (Fuu-chan) Skill : traditional Soran dance, Admired Senior : Ono Mizuho
- 13 year old Murata Yuu from Aichi (Yuu-chan, Yu) Skill : Dance, Admired Senior : Sasaki Rikako,
- 15 year old Ishii Mihane from Kanagawa (Mihane, Miha) Skill : Dance, Admired Seniors : Sato Masaki, Ishiyama Sakura, Akiyama Mao, Fukuda Marine

These 3 definitely stand out from the others who didn't pass (now joining Kenshuusei)

lots of new Hello Pro Kenshuusei joining (meaning they all didn't pass the 4th round of the audition)
- 15 year old Shimakawa Hana from Kanagawa, Skill : Stage play acting
- 14 year old Asano Yurika from Kanagawa, Skill : Cheerdance
- 13 year old Miyakoshi Chihiro from Tokyo, Skill : Dance
- 13 year old Nishimura Itsuki from Kanagawa, Hobby : Going to Hello Pro concerts
- 13 year old Souma Yume from Saitama, Skill : Singing and Dancing
- 12 year old Ootsubo Mano from Kanagawa, Skill : Cheerdance
- 12 year old Yoshida Hikari from Tokyo, Skill : Ballet
- 12 year old Sugihara Meisa from Hyogo, Skill : Dance
- 11 year old Hattori Rua from Aichi, Skill : Acrobat

They all looked skilled in their 4th round performance footage, but definitely need more training.

Niinuma is looking for character in the new Tsubaki members
Dambara is looking for smiling power in the new Kenshuusei

The new Tsubaki Factory members will be unveiled in the H!P Winter Concert Tour 2024 remaining scheduled tour dates starting on February 10th at TACHIKAWA GARDEN STAGE (Tokyo)

The new Kenshuusei will be unveiled at the March 2024 recital.

I'm looking forward to see the new members in action! I'm really glad they added a huge batch of Kenshuusei too. However, I was hoping for new members for Kenshuusei Unit '24 so I'm a bit disappointed though that's on me for heavily expecting new members when it wasn't guaranteed.

Those 12/11 year old babies are really skilled so I suspect they are being groomed for the legacy groups.

Legacy groups sounds better than generational groups.

They must be waiting for the kenshuusei recital to reveal the fate of the H!PK unit.
