Kobushi Factory to disband on March 30th 2020 (Last SG March 4th)

^I've seen a few people mention the lack of singles etc, but... if anything their release schedule seemed normal to me.
They had an album just a few months ago and they usually release a single early in the year. Every group seems to have about 2 releases a year these days and that's what they've done for the past two years too.

Considering how GREAT their album was, I had such high hopes for the upcoming singles and activities for them, too. ;o; this makes me so sad the more I think of it. D:

Some of the comments in this thread do make me laugh. Not everything needs to be a bloody conspiracy theory.

Anyways, while I'm saddened at the split, I'm at least glad that I at least got to see them live last year.

To be fair, those two mostly fell on their own swords. Fujimoto Miki in particular had a good chance of making it through if she hadn't gone on Young Town and flat out confirmed the tabloid story.

Yeah Miki and Mari were at the height of their popularity, but less known idols have been fired for way less. This is the NUMBER ONE TABOO in the idol industry. Just because it's 2020 doesn't mean anything.

It is my understanding (I could be wrong) that Taguchi Natsumi did have a boyfriend, the staff knew about it and were not going to do anything about it, and then Natsumi quit by her own choice because she felt she was making problems for the group. (The blog post about storming out of her parents house and wandering around a 2AM by herself might have also contributed to the "problems".)

Did we ever learn what Fuji Rio did to get her contract cancelled in the lead up to her graduation? Not rumors, just specifics as to what rule she broke to warrant her termination. I don't recall that being clarified.
