Only 800 or so away from being exactly the total Oricon sales of the last single. This release seemed very low-key, I was expecting a slight slip.

I've really tried to get into Ishiki takai, but I really can't. However, having paid attention to it, now I realize that what bugs me is how horribly boring the lyrics are lol. And, half of the dance moves are just weird imo. The music itself is pretty nice so if this had another lyrics-version, I'd love that probably lol.
Having that said, I really dig Dakishimerarete mitai. I love that they link it back to Teion yakedo with both the same song writers and costumes and all.

But, out of all their singles this really isn't a strong one for me.

Nothings really jumping out to me with this single.

Ishiki Takai Otome no Dilemma
Verses remind me of Morning Musume's Toki wo Koe Sora wo Koe although a bit less impactful. Chorus kind of throws it off for me.
PV is really good quality and yet I've been spoiled recently so Its kind of boring to me. Has a classic morning coffee feel though so thats cool.
Seems like a really Tsubaki song overall but with less EDM

Aren't those the Teion Yakedo outfits basically? And the song isn't that far off? I'm not really a fan of Teion Yakedo so there is that.
Arrangement reminds me of something from C-ute, but I can't pinpoint it. Boring PV. Boring song honestly.

My favorite Tsubaki song is Konya Dake so I kind of wish they would do something like that again. Oh well. Teion Yakedo sold pretty well so I'm sure this will do well too.

edit: Just saw the first day numbers are 65,112 so thats pretty awesome.

Dakishimerarete Mitai is the weaker song. The sequel didn't really live up to Teion Yakedo's music oomph.

Ishiki Takai Otome no Dilemma is more of Tsubaki Factory's music style, but it wasn't single worthy.

I guess they were taking the safe route with this single to test where Tsubaki Factory is at first, because they were off for most of last year. With the sales as an indicator, the H!P song writer could feel more comfortable writing a better quality song next.

I read their past sales numbers incorrectly, and it's actually likely that this will be their best selling single to date.
