It is announced that Tsubaki Factory will be covering both the opening and ending songs for the new TV Tokyo animation series "Trolls: Sing, Dance, Hug!" (テレビ東京系「トロールズ：シング・ダンス・ハグ！」) that starts airing on October 3rd at 5:55pm and every week on Wednesday.

opening song is titled "Hair up Sora e! (Hair up to the Sky!), a cover of the original English title "Hair in the air", a song that matches up with the happy and energetic character Poppy, and the ending song is titled "Mou Saikou!", a cover of the original English title "Best Day Ever"

Yamagishi Riko says she is really thrilled of being in charge of singing and dancing the songs for such cute characters. She hopes that hearing these songs will make everyone sing and dance together and be happy!

In addition, MAIKO (Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's choreographer) will be in charge of the dance for Tsubaki Factory in the music video for "Mou Saikou!"

Trolls: Sing, Dance, Hug! is about a heroine named Poppy (voiced by Shimizu Risa) who is passionate about singing and dancing and loves to dance with her siblings and friends like Branch.



Trolls was also an animated movie by Dreamworks in 2016.

Also to be honest, those Trolls songs don't sound too bad...I think I'm looking forward to it now. It really does sound like typical idol music with the wow and yeahs.
I wonder if they'll be additional tracks on their new (rumoured) album?

if they think releasing two cover songs as main A-side songs will sell, maybe.

Riko says they already shot the MV. Look forward to its completion. They also rehearsed the songs today.

Riko bought the Trolls DVD too.

Tsubaki Factory has a mini live and handshake scheduled in Okinawa on 10/14. no details given about why or what it is for. A release for something of some sort will probably be announced soon.

Yeah... Tsubaki's cover is like 100x better than the original. Lol The ED has a very J-pop/idol feel.

..Someone get Yumeno on a kids TV show ASAP.

That was so cute! I love how how Kiki is the odd one out and is center. That's so shoujo anime-like.

Yumeno pretty much sang the last 30 seconds of the song and she's amazing.
It's weird how HP sounding the song is.
