[3/29] C-ute 31st single (last) - To Tomorrow / FINAL SQUALL / The Curtain Rises

Anytime I see Squall I think of Matsuda Seiko. It was one of my favorite songs off her debut album, which also happened to be called Squall.

When it comes to C-ute's song I really got a feeling of weather and rain from the opening instrumental. I do believe one of the things told to the fans going to the PV shoot was that there would be water and they would get wet. That fits in the theme.

I'm not a fan so far, but I can't hear it very well and I'm in a less than ideal mood so my opinion is likely to change when I feel better.

Maybe it's just me but I'm pretty sure I have never in my life had the opportunity to use the word "squall" in a meteorological discussion.

random but AKB48 has a theatre song called Squall no Aida, they dance around with umbrellas and raincoats. Maybe it's used more often there?

Sounds like Tsugi no Kado wo Magare mixed with GamushaLIFE. Well, SHOCK EYE did work with Kouga a bit on GamushaLIFE so lol
The song's pretty good. The verse sounds great, and the chorus is alright. The chorus starting with "sayonara" and having an overall goodbye chant vibe/sound to it got me a bit emotional though...
