Selfishly speaking, I'd rather they come to the US. Nonetheless congratulations Mexico!

I'm from the northeast and eventhough I'm broke I plan on going.

I mean. Of course H!P starts coming to Mexico almost as soon as Berryz ceased existing :[ To my city, no less, lol.

I'm happy for their fans here, though!

Living in California I am being tempted in going since this could be my first H!P concert! Though it would be just as great if they could come to L.A., too. I'd be more than glad to meet up with anyone or as a group in Mexico city.

No one has posted it here, but the concert tickets go on sale May 16th.
It will be 10am for the VIP tickets, and 11am for the GA. Both times are Mexico City times.
There will be a total of 400 VIP tikets available, and they cost $2200 (About $142USD) each.
GA will cost $585(About $38USD each.)
GA tickets will be sold on ticketmaster, and VIP will be sold here: http://jfest.ws/
In order to receive the VIP tickets, you must pick them up no later than the 18th, so be sure to get in on that day instead of the day of the concert.
The place to pick up the tickets is called J'Store. https://www.facebook.com/JStoreMX
If you can't get there on the 18th, it is suggested you have someone pick it up for you, and you can request a specific person to pick up when you purchase the ticket.
VIP seems to come with Early entry to the front and some kind of meet-and-greet.

What happened to doing Q&A's, signings, etc?

The original announcement didn't say anything about Q&A or signings, did it?

Those types of things generally happen when the girls have been guests at anime conventions. Think back--when MM'14 performed in NY, there was no officially sanctioned/scheduled interaction with the girls outside of the concert & handshake session, right?
Anime conventions are different, because they're days-long events, and they need to fill that void somehow. Concerts are one-offs. You get to see the group perform in an actual music hall vs a multipurpose room in a convention center, but there's many fewer opportunities for direct interaction.

I didn't mean in this one, I meant just in general... It would make so much more sense that for rare over-sea stuff they'd do more interactive stuff. I know MM didn't do it, and that's why I'm wondering why they aren't trying to do stuff like that more.

Urgh, I reeeeeeeeally shouldn't spend hundreds of dollars to go down to Mexico for this, but I know that I'll be kicking myself forever if I don't at least try to get a VIP ticket.
