It's required with an anime convention but you don't need to do that stuff when the concert is something they are doing on their own terms.

But what I mean is, wouldn't it make more sense PR-wise, or at least foreign fans-wise? I'm sure doing things like that bring the fans closer and maybe even brings in new fans.?

Because it would piss off the Japanese fans that they are showing favoritism to the foreign fans? That's how I see it. Besides des it's a LOT of work to do autographs on top of performing. They are already overworked as is.

That's true, I guess.... (the overwork part)
As for the favoritism thing, it's not favoritism, it's just that since they only get to go overseas once in forever, it would only make sense that they do something more special, no? (maybe i'm wrong about that.)

I think they see it as them doing us a huge favour by coming overseas as it is. I mean, they'll have fans abroad whether they visit or not, and their main concern will always be the Japanese fans (we're really just the icing on the profits cake for them).

Seems as though VIP sales went a little strangely (the main sales page crashed or something, not sure), but J'Fest is selling the remaining VIP tickets via Facebook, PayPal only.

It says to use this link to purchase a VIP ticket.
(That's Pesos it's quoting you, not ~$2300 USD. XD )

And general admission is also available at Ticketmaster~ http://www.ticketmaster.com.mx/event/14004EA1B0B481A5

Well, I paid for a VIP ticket using the Paypal link, but it remains to be seen whether I'm actually getting a ticket, since the page I was directed to after paying just gave me a "403 Forbidden" message, not unlike those I was seeing on the J'Fest website an hour and a half earlier….

¡Qué clusterfuck!

Yeah as long as you have the receipt you should be fine. I'm a little worried too but since I have a receipt and the money was taken out I assume it was fine

I did get a Paypal receipt, so that's okay, at least. I'll give them a few days to get things sorted out before I make any inquiries (i.e. before I have to attempt to communicate in Spanish).

Did you get an e-mail about your transaction or like did you see the money come out of your account? If not I would try to inquire about that soon.

(I had to use spanish so much this past week. It was so basic they might think I'm stupid)
