Security update.

This time for the cheki etc events they had us line up in one line first to check in our baggage (very strict on what wasn't okay pretty much wallet only.) And then we had to get into a different line far from the first for the event. They also were sure to check ID this time and right before going in to see the girls we were scanned.

That combined with increase of fans who had come made it pretty hectic. Lot of complaints and worries about making it to the girls in the alloted time were going on around me. I barely made it in myself since I forgot to take out my wallet when I first checked my stuff.

On popularity with fans. Haruna only had about five in her line at any one time when I was there and Oda's line was overflowing, didn't notice the others. I'll update this post with my Harunan Cheki when I get home. It was the concert outfits.

Aww man I just realized that all the groups that do Odotte Mita videos have to find 3 more friends. Whoever was doing Sayu can just pick a 12th gen and then that means they need 3 more friends to join their dance group. Ganbatte Minna!

^^ I watched those a bunch of times. I'm guess I'm easily impressed by the level of dedication people put into a good odotte mita or other cover version. The Duu in the first group was a real Duu double. The one in the second group looks a bit like Kaorin! Shige #1's hair is magnificent. Shige #2's stiff as if it hurts to turn her head right or something, and due to her lack of height she looks overwhelmed jumping around in those heels, but she's trying so hard it's adorable in itself. Too bad she missed out on being able to cosplay Aika.

Also, there's something that feels really empowering and poignant about the Tiki Bun dance in general. When they go "HERE WE GO!" and hug each other, the girls on each end have their arms fully extended as well, as if by extension they're including all the fans in the world their embrace. It adds a richer meaning to the words; we're not just confident in ourselves to go forward from here and trust in our skills (without Sayumi), but in you all as well, and we can all hold each other up.
