Kimi sae didn't have much Reina in it either. They're "transition" singles. At least MM '14 won't have to worry about the formation for this song... until 12th gen joins. I can't wait.

I still think that Mikaeri Bijin has a chance at being a "dedicate" song for Sayu sang by the others, aside from just a song that emphasizes the future of MM. without Sayu and/or a song that highlights 9-11ki. Excited for the single =)

Being sad about losing Sayu is all well and good but it's good that UFA is reminding people this is the start of something new as well. Gives a more hopeful impression.

Let's be real, H!P's seniority system is weird.
Miki joined H!P before Ai, Ai debuted before Miki. Miki became leader over Ai.
H!P Kids joined H!P before Sayu, Sayu had a major debut before H!P Kids. Sayu became leader over Saki.
Karin joined H!P before Yuka, Yuka was the oldest member of a newly formed group with no senior members. Yuka became leader over Karin.

In the end, Fuku-chan is still senior over Haruna is any way possible (except for age and school year lol).

These examples aren't all that weird when taking age into account lol. The weirder one would be Kei vs Kaori I guess, which kind of mimics the Fuku-chan/Haruna dynamic we have now.

I don't mind the conversation, but it is getting annoying that this same convo is going on in 3 separate threads. So I agree we that everyone should move it to the mm leadership thread. It would be nice to have it consolidated. Plus we have a poll over there! C'mon guys! Everyone loves polls

My goodness, you're right! I should've been able to read your mind and see that you implied age to all of those dynamics, instead of just as a tiny add on at the end in reference to Harunan and Fuku-chan!

Anyway, this transition is going to be a weird one. There's always been padding generations between them, but once Sayu's out it's a straight jump to 9th and beyond. I don't think the song without Sayu will be too weird though, seeing as her lines are few anyway. The break-down without an autotuned Sayu line might be strange at first though. Perhaps they'll give that roll to another non-singing member (Haruna? Eripon?)
