Hey those sales are awesome! I'm glad because this is my favorite Berryz single in a while! Seems like all the groups are improving in sales now. I like it

Sales are great however put into context...
3.Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku 53,913
4.Berryz Kobo 44,219
Then again, EbiChu's songs were all TV theme songs or CM songs and they apparently had a -get this-
Limited Yodel Edition. I'd say that's hard to top and seriously: who comes up with this stuff anyway?

I enjoyed Ebichu's new single a lot actually, but it didn't even come close to Berryz's. Really happy with the sales either way.

Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku??? really???
Stardust Promotions really has some really strange, but successful marketing/promotion or whatever they're doing right now seems to be working for most of their groups just because of MomoClo's success...
I personally can't stand most of the weird stuff that goes on with 3B idols, *cough* Team Syachinko *cough*.
I'm glad this is their best selling single, but to lose out to a pretty recent idol group when their title boasts about their tenure-ship is kinda embarrassing...
UFP has been doing the same stuff for a while now, they need to step it up again.

Because they're good. That simple. (plus they're young idols, they will undoubtedly pull a lot)
It bugs me though that Emichu's channel is blocked -_-

I've never listened to EbiChu before, so I can't judge them. But either way, sales are still good for both groups.

Lol, Ebichu's been selling decently for a while. Their previous single sold 47k total, and they've been selling 30k+ for a bit, from what I remember...
Also they're awesome. Quit hatin'.

They're celebrating their 5th anniversary in August, so they're not super new.

5th? no way! especially since their debut single was only in 2012 what.
but yeah I'm not a fan, but Stardust is good in marketing their groups to audiences that would buy their stuff and exploit it. anime tie-ins, and whatnot . that's how momoiro clover z became more popular.

They must've been an indies group before that.

Yep, they released indies singles for quite a while before they had their major debut. Lots of idol groups operate like that, actually -- although moreso the ones who are initially signed to unknown labels. AFAIK, Ebichu have been with Stardust since the beginning.
And yeah, I don't agree with a lot of what Stardust does and their management is kinda shady about some things, but the Ebichu girls are great and a lot of their songs are really good. They're one of my fave non-H!P/*48 idol groups, actually.
