Berryz haven't been selling out tour seats for a while(except the budokan live) and they don't hold as many concerts as before(even the lack of fall tour). So maybe it's a good time to give them a boost. Also for the sake of bigger venues, there'll be more fans attending. Also some old fans will be drawn back too.

Maybe it's a short one. Three stops or something. @.@ Would make more sense.

They pulled it off in 2007, and back then, the highest they hit was like 20k+.

That was also before more than two editions of every single. Not saying that they haven't gained more fans, they surely have, but a million selling single (LOVE Machine) with only two editions, would have been bought by more people than a million selling single (whatever AKB) that has 6-8 editions. Same goes for lower numbers, 20+ back in 2007 vs. 30+ these days where we have way more editions=more sales.

2007 was just a one time thing, this is supposedly a tour. Pulling off Saitama Super Arena which is close to Tokyo, isn't the same as pulling off a Arena in, let's say Fukuoka or whatever. Not every fan attending one concert will go all the way to the other one, depending on where they are. Some fans will, but far from everyone.

I don't want them to /not/ pull it off, I really hope they will. But this is out of the blue and considering they're most likely one of the least popular groups in H!P right now (at least it seems that way) I find it worrying that they might not be able to. I'd love to be proven wrong and they sell out every single show though... but like I said, if they have a TOUR of 12 arenas around the countries that might be difficult. However if they do to Tokyo/Osaka/Nagoya only, that'd make it a lot easier to sell out and have it be a success.

Well, let's not worry until we find out where exactly they are going. With all the promotion they've been getting lately, I wouldn't be surprised if more than half of the arena was filled. I mean, yeah, we were not expecting their Budokan to be a success, but it was. So let's not be so doubtful. It really doesn't matter who is the most popular and who is the least. All H!P groups are having their own momentum, and that's all we should be worried about.

That's the thing. Arena tours aren't normal in H!P.
Or at least they haven't been for the past... ten? or so years.
