Tsunku said he noticed that lately, junior high school girls who want to become idols didn't belong to any sports club at school, which is something he didn't see with 1st gen MM. Pointing out a generational change.

Just speculating on what kind of auditionees he's screening right now to trigger such a tweet. I guess this means we should expect members the same age/younger than Maachan/Kuduu, and maybe not necessarily good dancers?

He's probably making the connection because, maybe being more sports-active is better for idols bc of stamina + flexibility? who knows.
No Berryz, No Life.

Definitely.

At this point I'm also hoping Tsunku will be fit enough to make an appearance.
I'm almost looking forward to that more. To see how he's doing.
He hasn't announced anything in person since the news of his cancer diagnosis.

Last we heard is that things were going a bit better.
Hopefully his condition has improved and he's feeling up to it.

Of course we could always get Hama-chan♀ to fill in again. :giggle:
Spoiler: show
Unless she's one of the winners herself. :fear:

^ Why not both? Give her the results in an envelope and let her find out when she reads it in front of everyone (with Makoto or someone ready to take over, of course). That would make great television, so to speak.

I hope she does win, assuming she auditioned. I like her.

Hell yeah, Hamachan for 12th gen all the way.

Actually I'm fine with anyone. I just hope we get some new members.

I'm sorry but no "project", chubby, or suppin ugly girls please. We have more than enough already, with Eripon, Zukki and Sakura.
One is enough, and anymore just loses the other girl's unique appeal.

We really need someone to compensate for the visual and personality loss of Sayumi and thats it really, if she can hold a note it'd be a bonus at this point for me.

I hope we don't get new annoying fans too. :whistling:

You're obviously butthurt??? I've been here since 2008.
never wanted to post this since I like Sakura, but if you insist
Spoiler: show

and a week ago

her make-up's only improved, and I'm glad it has.

there's no denying she's ugly without make-up. I only say this because it's a lot of work and emotional pressure, but yeah if they're exceptional and a valuable asset like Sakura, then heck bring them on.
having one girl whos slightly ugly and/or chubby, and people ranting on how about she's insecure, unfairly neglected and whatnot is just going to be more annoying in the fandom.
I just personally would like someone to compensate for Sayumi's visual role within the group who's ready to catch up to the other girls in the group performance wise.
