I felt like translating some highlights from Miki's interview found in the scans above. Miki moved to Illinois in 2001 (2 years old) because of her dad's job. As a baby, she loved Baby Einstein DVDs. She got into Mini Moni in 2004 when she was 4-5 years old and went back to Japan shortly. Her love for Mini Moni continued even when she went back to America. She enrolled in a dance school in 2007 as her dream was to become a Miley Cyrus backdancer (I assume, as watching her live made her feel like becoming a backdancer lol). She moved back to Japan in 2010 when she was in fourth grade. When she entered junior high school, she enrolled in the English club at her high school and became its leader.

TL;DR: Miki likes Miley Cyrus and Mini Moni.

Since Miley Cyrus was still 'Hannah Montana' in 2007, it's a cute little wish from an 8 (or so) year old.

So, how well DOES she know english?

She probably used to be fluent (and her accent is pretty much non-existent as we heard, though the only time we heard her talk she was annunciating for a Japanese crowd, I'm sure that wouldn't be her normal talking voice), but in Japan she probably rarely uses English except at school, so who knows what it's at now. You forget what you don't use . I'm sure as we see her more it'll become more obvious, especially since it's probably going to be her thing.

I can't wait to see the 12th Gen as a part of MM, so excited. And then (to crossover a bit with the Big Chance thread) I love that one of their debut song's MV may be more interesting than usual.

She spoke a tiny bit of English on the latest H!S episode! She said "hair arrangement" and "see you next time" . Still not really a lot, but she does sound pretty fluent. Like you said, though, we've only heard little bits.
