To me it's win win now, because if Johnny's do release that day they picked the fight so to speak. One which there is a chance with MM's rising sales and the exposure this single already has through the au campaign and tie in they could even lose. That's the other element behind why MM's No.1 have been easy recently, big names could've released against them in all of those weeks but they ducked out because MM is a constantly rising unknown factor for sales right now.

I think that MM.'14 being #2 to a JE group would help them more than a fifth #1 in a row. That would start a new narrative that MM.'14 will take on anyone because if they want to be number 1 then they can't duck anyone.

Exactly! I would love to see some MM.'14 and JE rivalry. Lately, they've been getting some easy competition. I would really love to see MM. 14 face JE.

I Completely agree...though getting 4 consecutive #1s are cool, doing so against artist who really don't sell that much isn't really fair game right?

A few of the members of Johnny's West are basically the Kansai Junior version of Kisumai. People have been waiting for B.A.D to debut forever, same for Hamada which is probably why he was added to the group.

I'm one of those who've been waiting for BAD. 8D Kiriyamaaaaaa <3 Could totally do without the nobodies in the group though. BAD+Hamada could have worked on its own.

I know what you mean, but Kisumai's (popular, waited-for-ever) members are a bit bigger so I don't think they will go as far as 300k. I don't think they'll sell any less than 100k either though, of course. I think it's possible for MM to beat them but it'd be a very... risky game. Very risky. @.@; Will be interesting to see how many editions/possible b-sides and DVD content.

Kisumai was particularly a big big deal because they were together as a group for a long time as juniors (years, man. years). Their CD debut announcement happened during their solo concert at Yokohama arena. It was very touching, and I think a lot of people felt that they really deserved the CD debut. Plus, their debut single was pretty good Johnny's song imho.

edit: I believe Sexy Zone was over 200k total for their debut? But I would expect around there for this new Johnny's. That said, if Momusu were to lose to anyone I'd rather have it be a Johnny's group than a similar girls idol group.

DuuDuu ain't ready for lines yet; she needs to build her confidence/stage presence first. She's starting to lack appeal to me tbh.

Not that i dislike her or anything, but she had such a fire during the auditions. Guess the bitchyness in the beginning caught up to her..or something?
