This is Miki Nonaka♪

Today, we performed in ”Live to the World 2015~J-MELO 10th Anniversary~

We introduced ”One and Only”, J-MELO's opening theme song for the first time. I was so nervous!(◎_◎;)

Thanks for coming today!

Red check costume. Very cute(*^_^*)

First performance as sixteen years old. Meeting this song was like a fateful encounter for me

I hope this would be a good opportunity to let many people know about Morning Musume, and JPOP.

One and Only's theme is ”A song that everyone will want to hum”

It reminded me of myself singing English songs in my mom's car when I was living in the US(*^_^*)

This song really shocked me!!

I want many people to listen to it

And today... I had moment that I felt like I was in a dream...

I met Silent Siren(T_T)

I'm a big big fan of them(T_T) I totally can not believe that I met them one day after my birthday...

I was so nervous

I should have worn cute clothes( ; ; )

I was filled with happiness

Sweet sixteen♪ I will always be ”HAPPY NONAKA” and will send you a lot happiness

Good night

Interview Morning Musume。'15 Part 1: Mizuki Fukumura
https://www.facebook.com/notes/up-front ... 4000871184

MIZUKI FUKUMURA

Before performing for the first time their new song "One and Only" during the 10th Anniversary of the TV show "J-MELO", UP-FRONT LINK had the chance to ask some questions to each Morning Musume。'15 members in the backstage. The questions are almost the same for each member but the answers are really interesting, check it out!

UFL: The first time you have heard that Morning Musume。'15 new song would be in English, how did you feel?

Mizuki Fukumura: The first time I have heard there will be a new song in English I was really surprised! But this year is the 19th year of carrier for Morning Musume。 and this is the first time there is a song just in English. It looked difficult singing in English but I was also happy on the same time. Even our senpai (senior, ex-members), during this long carrier of Morning Musume。, did not have this opportunity so I felt really lucky.

UFL: And as the leader, did you have more pressure?

Mizuki Fukumura: Of course I felt more pressure this time. I cannot understand really well English so I worried about the people who will listen, would they understand our English? Will they also understand our message through those lyrics in English? But we received this time the support from Nonaka Miki-chan, so I think we have been able together to make something quite good.

UFL: How was the recording, particularly concerning the pronunciation?

Mizuki Fukumura: Oh yeah! For example with the "th" in English, I had to try to say it many many times during the recording. But somehow, with the advices I was able to make it but when you have to sing on the same as well, then it became much more difficult to say it and it was quite troublesome. On the same time, with shows like J-MELO, we receive support from worldwide people and it makes me stronger and I always feel that I have to do more and more my best not only for Japanese fans,

UFL: In Morning Musume。 history, there were several performances in the world so now that you have this new song in English, what is your new goal concerning overseas?

Mizuki Fukumura: Without any doubt, I will say France. My senpai, Takahashi Ai, got to go to France to perform with the group and I saw this on the television, it was before I became a member of the group. I saw them performing, doing the signing session, etc. It was really impressive and great so I want to go to France with the current members and perform there! I am even ready to sing in French! Haha! I want to use all the words I have learned from the fans every time I have been overseas to introduce myself and talk a bit with them again like in New York. I want new challenges from now!

UFL: On YouTube, you receive many comments in many languages from all over the world for each music video uploaded, how do you feel about it?

Mizuki Fukumura: Oh yes, there is also the show Hello! Station every week. Every time I read "Mizuki", I understand and feel "Wow, he/she is talking about me!!". It makes me so happy! We cannot lose with this support.

UFL: From now, what is your goal as the leader of the group?

Mizuki Fukumura: When Michishige-san was the leader of the group, the 12th generation joined us. Now we have 13 members in total which means more difficult situations with more members. But the 9th and 10th generations are members for some years now and understand what they had to do until now and can understand many situations. Even if this not as a whole group, some members can perform in an area of the world and some others can perform in another area of the world. Like this, the members will get more experiences and this is what I aim for.

Thank you Mizuki!

Actually, she said that she feels happy when she sees the word "Mizuki" in the comments. She didn't say she understood any of the other words.

right, but that means they look at the comments.
Which means that
a) there are still comments in Japanese, so she probably goes through those, too.
b) she's probably not the only one, and I wonder how much Miki reads the comments.

I dunno, I think it would be more surprising if they don't. Especially if it's the release of a new song. They may not see all, but how could they resist reading instant feedback. Many commentors in general tend to feel like there's a wall between comments and those in the video, but when they're directly connected or ARE the uploader they're going to read no matter their fame.

Wow, that is SUPERB that they actually memorized and performed that song. The song itself is nothing spectacular though.
