I know it sounds harsh and I don't mean it to be, but I'm more excited for her future (the band) than I am worried or saddened about her graduation.

And from that video of Reina announcing her grad, I think Reina agrees with me

Im actually really excited for her band. Its just really awkward not having a bassist, keyboard player or drummer though..

Mezamashi said that Reina's band will start official activities starting in February (I'm guessing right after H!P Winter Cons and before the start of the Spring Tour and Reina-band will guest perform throughout the entire concert).


So TECCHNNIIICAAALLLLLYYYY, no one lied about Reina doing MM and the band at the same time. They just forgot to mention the fact that Reina will be graduating almost immediately after her band officially debuts. Lol.

He specified Morning Musume in the blog post... I'd say likely Takahashi and Abe.

I love Reina, but that's not accurate Tsunku.

Oh dammit, this hurts so badly that I just now have words to express how sad I am.
But I'm not frustraded. I love Reina ever since she joined, she never left the first position in my rankings (sometimes, she just shared with other people). Beeing a Morning Musume fan for so long and having alredy the experience of seeing your favorite graduating (Gocchin...), I always though that I was somehow prepared for when this day arrived. But I am not.
I really love Momusu as it is right now. I love all the members. This line up is exciting me more than MM has excited me in years. Everyone can possibly replace Reina in her no 1 position. But seeing her go now that every thing seems just perfet just breaks my heart.
I'm not really worried with Momusu (as I was when... I don't know, Aichan graduated maybe). I'm not worried with Reina too. Actually, I'm soooo happy for her band. She seems relly excited when she talks about it. I think Reina alredy gave everything she could to Morning Musume, and now it's time for to follow her own path. Her declaration in her blog made me this realize this, that she's not a girl anymore and now she's searching for her own way to shine. And of course I'll keep supporting her.

And now, let's just hope for a graduation ceremony in SSA! That would be amazing!!
