i, on the other hand, think Yuri and Captain look great.
all of Berryz does! not counting Momo, of course, but that's mostly just because of her hair. she's not giving any particular expression either, but that wouldn't be bad if only her hair was down.

i get what they were going for in Momusu's cover, the kind of cellphone purikura (which is why they went for the pixelated look, it's what most photo decorating apps you use will end up looking like) but i agree with the person that said Momusu's photo is too busy. so in addition to that style being kind of messy to begin with, it totally clashes and makes it worse. maybe the concept would have worked (or at least not look terrible) if they had had the girls all wear 1 color with minimal pattern.

i don't like the S/mileage cover at all, though Takechan is working it. at least the girls don't look bad (well, Meimi kind of does), but the photo is so plain and i'm not liking the yellow/cyan colors.

Mano looks mature and gorgeous as usual, but i LOL'd at the comment about her stare. can't unsee!

C-ute's is nice, if a bit typical. Chissaa & Airi's dresses are nice! i like the lace effect around the group name, but not along the edges of the picture. this one is probably the best one overall, though. ^-^ i'll give Berryz second place because of the amazing photos, and i don't mind head shots as much.. however, i have to agree that would have been stronger as a group shot.

I swore to myself that I was getting an MM calendar this year even tho I don't even use calendars. But this is just yuck. Maybe the inside pics will be better? I don't really want to take the chance. Are there usually previews of the pages before they're released?

And I agree that Momoko looks completely out of place on that calendar. Even Chii is channeling her inner sexy goddess.

Cute's calendar cover is the best.

Momoko looks the same as always, but she doesn't look bad. Captain looks like utter shit. I love Captain, and she's been looking hot elsewhere, but this photo should have never been used.

Manoeri looks like Kanon.

Agree that pretty much every single pic Captain posts on her blog would have been better. And while Chinami looks great, she shouldn't be allowed to un-smile, ever.
