^^I've put about 11 hours into the game so far. It's fun as fuck and I love it.

ORAS have already sold 7.7 million units worldwide... Gen 3 confirmed for best gen.

Pokemon update: Just beat the champion. Took me about 25 hours or so. Hella.

The champion was almost too easy, really. It seemed to take a lot longer in X/Y.

I told myself I'm not allowed to buy any new Pokemon games until I beat X/Y :mikihead: I don't think I've finished a Pokemon game (Elite Four beaten finish) since Crystal, yet I keep buying them, play them for weeks, get halfway done and never touch them again. I'm sure once a new gen comes out I'll probably buy it anyway... they just keep doing little things each way to improve things... I can't help but want to try it out... With Pokemon I rarely feel the need to say "the original was so much better" because I tried to replay Blue a year ago and little things like being without the battle battle innovations, type balances and bigger things like no breeding possible... they drove me crazy XD

I really want Inquisition so badly, but I don't really have the money to drop on it since next month is my low pay month... so I bought Origins for my PC (I'd originally played it on a game system, but that's all in the US) to make me feel better as it was like 7 bucks..

The third coundown on the official website for the Digimon Adventure 15th anniversary project reached zero on Saturday and revealed the first key visual and staff information. The website also announced the official title for the new anime is Digimon Adventure tri.

Atsuya Uki (Cencoroll) will provide the character designs, Yuuko Kakihara (Heaven's Lost Property) will act as series script supervisor, and Keitaro Motonaga (Rayearth) will direct.

I just discovered that "Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi" fashion dolls were made by Mattel at some point, though in the image of the actual girls rather than their cartoon selves. Odd choice, Mattel.

It's weird to hear them talk about Kree without ever actually saying "Kree". Just "blue angels from space".

And I just realized that with the Kree connection, Skye and her parents are probably Inhumans. It didn't click for me until Skye's father mentioned the "chosen few" who could handle the object and/or would survive a Kree invasion.

MUCH better.

Spoiler: show
So the Diviner was in fact a Kree device containing a Terrigen crystal, Skye's father is Calvin Zabo (a.k.a. Mister Hyde), Skye herself was just transformed into Quake by the crystal/mist, and the rest of the season will be spent introducing the Inhumans.

I'm surprised by how much they're lifting from the comics. Of course they're adapting it to fit the MCU and toning it down so that it doesn't scare off a mainstream audience, but still, it's a lot.

I remember those. They didn't look much like Ami and Yumi, though.

I was hoping to find a YouTube clip of a classic TV moment from that era, when they were on Jimmy Kimmel Live. It went something like this:

Jimmy: We have a guy called Puffy here in America. Would you like to meet him?
Ami & Yumi: [long, uncomfortable silence]
Jimmy: I guess not.
