Dean Cain and Helen Slater as Supergirl's adoptive parents. Nice touch.

Speaking of nostalgia, I just came across a TV program from like 2000. Selma Blair was so adorably cute back then that even horrible acting on a bargain basement Friends knockoff in VHS quality doesn't mar her charms.

And I wasn't even looking for Selma, I was looking for the sidekick girl, Azura Skye. There's something about Kanana that always reminds me of her.

Oh man, I'd totally forgotten about that show.

I'm digging iZombie, even though it's mindless fluff…

It's basically Veronica Mars meets Dead Like Me, lightened up (or dumbed down, depending on your point of view) by the CW's usual "young adult" melodrama and blandly hip soundtrack. But I can overlook those elements.

It also doesn't hurt that she is totally my type, much like Clara in Doctor Who.

^ Hmm, a friend just mentioned that show today. I might check it out.

Pretty much what I expected from the "JEM" movie. Spoilers.
Spoiler: show

More evidence of too much time on my hands:

I can't really call it "mindless fluff" anymore. The first season/story arc gets much darker towards the end. :fear:

I enjoy iZombie most of the time, but..
Spoiler: show
I find Blaine boring and Vaughn Du Clark especially annoying, to the point that I've just started quickly skimming or totally skipping scenes that don't seem particularly plot-important. I'm hoping they'll just kill both of them off near the end of the second season and move on to more interesting characters.
