Here's a fantasy TV show:

After Team Mekenki gets popular (after contributing an opening theme for a popular anime) they announce that they want to get more members, so they have a "reality" show where any girl formerly associated with H!P eggs and not under contract at the time can apply. The show lasts six weeks and has the girls in intensive training. At the end of episode 2 the judges tell two of the girls that they are on the bubble and could be cut in week four. Week four they either cut the girls who are lagging or keep them. At the end of week six they announce which girls are new members of Team Mekenki.

(Since Team Mekenki is a temporary name I am holding out for a catchier name, like "Idols 4 You!".)

Here is my first draft at "Morning Osusume" - an idol group becoming popular in Japan. They only sing one or two songs in concert because the main attraction of their shows it the meet and greet after the show where a wota can receive fashion advice from each member of the group.
