You think so? Which one do you like the best? The song is nice, thanks for the recommendation. But that dance....looks like the type of dance that performers who can't dance do.

I like the girl in the thumbnail and the girl with the long black hair the most. They're very *48 like idols without the extra girls. So I like that.
I haven't really found a song I really love yet but they always come out with great well-budgeted videos like this one. I didn't even notice that their dancing was kinda mediocre but I guess that's normal for idols not HP?
Another new idol group I'm interested in is Wa-Suta from Idol Street (Avex's attempt at Hello Project)
I really like their video-game concept/aesthetic. They have some nice indie songs.

^ She was there before, the year LoVendor came to J-Pop Summit. Of course you know that.
The vocaloid Hatsune Miku will be in SF April 30th too.

I really like this new Babymetal song, which I'm glad of, because I wasn't so fond of Gimme Chocolate. It's also interesting to see how much at a loss the hosts of Music Station are as to why in the world Babymetal are so popular outside of Japan
... it makes me wonder that if they hadn't blown up overseas, Babymetal would have passed out of the public eye to be one of the many idol groups that everyday Japanese don't know of and thus don't care about.

Hence my use of the word "returning".
Yes, I saw her at J-Pop Summit that year, and also when she played the Regency Ballroom the following February. And I'll go see her again this time around.
I'm skipping Hatsune Miku. Vocaloid isn't really my thing, and I've already got plenty of other stuff to do for the rest of the month (concerts by Lush and Sloan, the San Francisco International Film Festival, and the Westpex stamp show).

The case could be made that it's all thanks to The Fine Bros. They didn't make "Gimme Chocolate!!" go viral, but they did more than anyone else to spread it.
