After a string of lackluster appearances with Lady Gaga (some of the fancam videos have been truly cringeworthy), it's on to Heavy Montréal…

Do you mean they themselves were lack luster? Or...

Has anyone read about this? I kind of find this quite offensive for the members. They could have chose a better name than "Chubbiness", especially since the members aren't really chubby (Probably to Japanese standards, they are.).

Probably not even chubby by Japanese standard. I think it's more about the baby fat "marshmallow" look.

No, they were fine. But they were opening for Lady Gaga, which meant they came out long before the official start-of-show, sometimes while the seats were still half-empty, and performed only a 20-minute set for people who mostly didn't know or care who they were. It was all very pro forma and, well, lackluster. Especially after the monster shows they had in Europe and Los Angeles.

God bless 'em, I could never deal with that.

I think it was a bad idea. Lady Gaga is one of those artists that are mainstream enough and liked by people that, in my opinion, don't really care much about music. I mean people that just listen to whatever's on the radio and played in public places. Most of them wouldn't care to watch a performance by an artist they've never heard of before, especially a group that doesn't sing in English. I've been to a concert by a big artist like that (Muse) in a huge venue, and I've seen the awkward emptiness of the place before Muse came out. On the other hand, I've been to slightly smaller shows where the artist was still really big in their genre but they're more popular among fans of indie music, and the venue was relatively full early on.

I dunno. Lady Gaga seems to genuinely like them and probably made them a great offer, one that would've been rude to turn down. But yeah, it's a mixed blessing — they could've done at least two, maybe three more of their own shows during this time leading up to Heavy Montréal. Speaking for myself, I would've gladly traveled to see them in, say, Chicago.

Amy Lee from Evanescence is going to release a new album - "Aftermath" related to the movie War Story.

Also Evanescence are recording new music again. =)

Spica's US debut song:
Spoiler: show

I think it's good. Aside from Juhyun's (short) rap, I can pretty much understand what they're all singing.
