One of the contestants was in one of my favorite groups! Heo Chanmi was in Co-ed School! OMFG I always wondered what happened to that group, I had their CD and bought posters and everything. "Too Late" and "bbiribbom bberibbom" were my JAMS back in the day.

Yep, Kang Mina's a jellyfish girl. Watching the first episode, I was so hype for Jellyfish, Fantiago, DSP and Somi. DSP kinda disappointed, but it wasn't all their fault, they just picked a terrible song to audition with. And someone please enlighten me, because I forgot her name, who is the girl that was a backdancer for IU and when she walked in the room everyone got silent and was just kinda staring at her weird? I was rooting for her too.

Edit: Nope I found her! Park Soyeon. Apparently she was on Kpopstar 2 and made it into the top 8.

I love Produce101!!!!! Its such a fun mess to watch, and the girls who participate get quality training opportunities that most agencies don't offer so it's really a win-win situation that most people don't understand.

I'm rooting for the actress girls especially the girl who sang IU LOL. I was so upset when I found out those girls in F are the back-up dancers who aren't even on the stage in the Pick Me up MV.

I loved Coed too!! Chanmi just makes me sad though, I don't know what would suit her? Maybe a soloist?

I dont follow Kpop but I clicked the video and couldnt stop and now I want episode 2 T.T (not subbed yet if I'm correct?)
Choi Yoo Jung from Fantagio in that M Countdown performance/MV seems very charismatic (she's A-center girl).
Also, maybe it's a Jpop fan thing to like the fun underdogs (Sohye from Red Line and the girl who sang UI) cause I am interested in their development as well hahaha
The pledis group really do look pretty, seriously...
Jellyfish group seems to be that playful but incredible type. They might seem like theyre just fun and games but they bring the heat on stage, kinda reminds me of Maachan lol

The girl in the yellow from Jellyfish reminds me a lot of Maachan. She instigates trouble and is loud and goofy but is also extremely talented. The Korean public is really resonating with her too, she's currently number 2 overall in popularity. Sohye from Redline isn't doing that bad either, she's number 18 (Up from 24 not too long ago) I think she's appealing to a lot of people despite not having any training whatsoever. And if you like her, you'll love Episode 2 because she gets A LOT of face time.

Right now I don't really have 11 girls I'm rooting for yet, so I generally vote for the ones I like then throw out rando votes for the rest (Since you have to vote for 11 of them) but right now my list looks like this:

2. Heo Chanmi (Dublekick) (Girl who went to the number 1 seat)
3. Kim Sohye (REDLINE) (Actress girl)
4. Kim Sejeong (Jellyfish) (Korea Maachan)
5. Kim Nayoung (Jellyfish)
6. Kang Mina (Jellyfish) (Did the splits, in pink.)
7. Park Hayi (Canistar) (Oldest contestant)

After that it's just randos. Some girls are starting to catch my eye but I haven't learned their names yet (SO MANY). All of the girls on my list are doing well too except I think Hayi, who's my lowest favorite at 50. None of them are near getting eliminated though so phew.

5) Sohye (Redline) - She's really bad at all aspects except acting but I think she'll be like some of the H!P members that we've gotten before: Terrible at first, amazing after weeks of training.

Park Soyeon needs to be appreaciated waaaaaay more.

I can toss votes in Soyeon's direction. I saw her performance on Episode 2 and it was solid so it's no skin off my back. She's not doing that bad currently (sitting at 26)
