I'm not super into BABYMETAL, but the girls handled that video very well. I liked that they seemed to really appreciate the different opinions they get and they had very mature views on things.

They seem like good kids (well, I mean, they're not really kids anymore). I'm glad they seem to be having a good experience with their overseas fame, too.

I didn't like the p;review much either but then I heard the Show's preview and I'm back to being hyped:



Man they are all ridiculously pretty and Mina reminds me WAYYY too much of Aibon.

I'm liking the song in full now that I'm hearing it. It's more over-produced than I like, but I'm sure I'll end up playing it nonstop. I'm so proud of bb Sohye, she's come so far They all look so wonderful, especially visual center Chaeyeon, oh my. Yoojung and Nayoung rap too, it's just all too much!

Only downsides: I felt like it needed more Sejeong, Queen Chungah and Yeunjung. I was surprised they didn't give her the usual high note/run at the apex of the song.

I don't like it much at all, which is a big disappointment since I was hoping this one would make up for that other song they released right after the show aired. This is just.. too much and not enough all at the same time. If this is the style their album ends up generally focusing on I don't think the group will be for me. I'll just have to keep a look out for the members I like in the future once this is finished.

The I.O.I "Pick Me" is just tragic. They should have checked the song one more time to see how it sounds before the released it.

But yeah, the mini album was a bit underwhelming. (Imo, "Crush" was the best track there.) But I guess I expected a bit too much since "35 Girls 5 Concepts" was filled with good songs to me. :s
