From the site it seems to be that they are a download card. They have a pin number and you can download the music instead of ripping it I guess? Or maybe there are extra songs?

Usually they don't have extra songs, but it pretty much works just like you said. Enter the PIN, and you get a download of the album in 320Kbs.

Ahhh, so up until now, use of the PIN would count as a seperate CD "purchase"? If so, then yeah it's good that they're updating the rules.

No video to accompany this, but I'm watching the Babymetal Budokan concert, and I am really impressed with SuMetal. All of the running around and jumping she does, while managing to sing everything on key without sounding (too) winded is amazing. Also the Kamiband solos are pretty amazing.
