I think at the moment Da Xiao Jie *is* H!P Taiwan since Icecream Musume is dead now.

Frances had previously met and worked with Calvin, when she worked on the drama "Love Buffet" as Xing Gu Du. Here she is at an event with other cast members, including Calvin.


She was also on TV with members of the cast (again, including Calvin.)

And here are a few videos from the Taipei Game Show 2011 where they promoted the Xbox 360 Kinect. (They played what looks like "Dance Central", and some sports game.) I believe they also performed.

Thank you for finding all this info! They must be doing at least moderatly well since they were choosen to promote the xbox 360 (or were they promoting just Dance central?), were I am in the uk you only get chosen for jobs like that if you have a good media presence!

I would be cool though if the girls were to perform at the h!p spring concert just to remind the japanese fans the exsist.

^ I think they were specifically promoting the Kinect (and by association some of the games for it. Since the little background to the booth they're in has "KINECT" in big print above the 360 logo, and the oversized buttons they wear say "KINECT" too).

Here's a video of them performing "Jia Jiayou" in a store to promote their scond album. (this video looks like it's from the same event, but they're totally surrounded by a bunch of little kids trying to dance with them. It's cute.)

I believe this was also sometime in February (not positive.) - They're introduced, and instead of them a sort of parody group comes out and does a little performance. Then around 2:36 the real Da Xiao Jie run out and perform one of their new songs.
