H!P Kenshuusei Thread

I love watching these digests, I wish they would release full performances though lol. Going off of what was on Harosute, here were some of the standouts (good and bad) to me:

Akiyama - she can't sing, but she's very charismatic.
Takase - She really is a good performer all around. I don't think this song choice did her justice tho.
Inoue Hikaru - my baby girl has improved so much and definitely gotten cuter! I'm so proud of her, and could definitely see her in MM or a new unit.
Kaga - good as always, but idk why I'm expecting more? Maybe because she's a more senior KSS? I'm expecting her to have leveled up more than what was shown.
Kasahara - that was a really bad performance, but I get why she won. There's just something about her. She has "it" to where even if she's bad, you still want to watch her performance and root for her.
Ruru - amazing as always, will probably be wasted in H!P ala Saho.
Ichioka - she was just okay for me? Maybe it was the song choice, but with the skills shown I can understand why she didn't make it into any of the factories.
Momohime - they need to get her under Momoko's tutelage STAT! She's so charismatic, cute and talented.

And that's all really lol there were some other girls who I thought performed really well, but I couldn't read the Kanji in their names so they didn't make it into my notes (I just wrote them as daite yo girl, and kiss me aishiteru girl) lol. I'd try and go back to see their names but I'm on mobile and might lose my typing, so uh, props to them!

New faces always gives me something to look forward to, since I'm not too impressed with the groups right now.

Well as someone with music background, most of these girls chose songs with keys that were too high for them to sing. Challenging things is good, but should've chosen something within their vocal range first as a trainee. ...then again many of H!P group songs are not exactly set at lower keys because they are group songs and well, idol songs. I guess they don't allow these girls to change keys

Somehow all of them -with the exception of Momohime- sounded worse with the all the cleanup and compression, though. I suppose all of them had so much pitchy issues that all the week of cleanup in the studio couldn't mask the flaws and brought them up front. I can see why Momohime won the fan vote, but that Momona girl... she didn't win with her singing or dancing performance, that's for sure. Probably won with the presentation (i.e. image). That's kinda big for an idol singer, you know. She was like a Uemura ver.2 (followed by a Miyamoto ver.2).
