true, but Momoiro Clover? but I guess you can argue that they are one of the more well known idol groups.

Momoclo has been around for a while now without adding new members. They're already 19-21, similar to C-ute. They only act young.

MM。generations:
1. 5th. Love all these girls, and as a generation I feel they're the strongest.
2. 1st. My kamioshi and four other awesome girls? Hella.
3. 10th. They're all great and they seem close.
4. 12th (potentially). Subject to change, but at the rate they're going...
5. 9th. Love 2 a lot. The other two aren't bad but they're not my type. Solid generation though.
6. 8th. I love them individually, but as a generation they don't work lol.
7. 11th. Sakura is pretty fantastic.
8. 4th. Never cares about Tsuji or Kago... Rika's great and I have a lot of respect for Yossy.
9. 3rd. I like Maki quite a bit.
10. 7th. Lol, Koharu.
11. 6th. I just don't care... They can be interesting sometimes but I don't really care about any of them. They're not last because they can be somewhat interesting.
12. 2nd. Don't really care about one, dislike the other two.

^Ok I'll ride that boat, but I'm leaving out 12th gen. Not enough to go by to fairly judge.

1. 6th - All four are in my top 10 all time so this is obvious.
2. 7th - Koharu used Momusu to start her modeling career with style.
3. 1st - It's Nacchi, Kaori, Nakazawa's fault I became a fan anyway. 9th, 10th gen will pass them soon.
4. 9th - Really solid group. Kinda impartial to Zukki but Riho is amazing.
5. 10th - Another solid group. Haruka has one of my faves.
6. 11th - Ima give Sakura some love here. Girl has talent.
7. 3rd - Maki Goto did a nice job for a gelfling who once butchered an Ami Suzuki song.
8. 5th - Takahashi is awesome, love/hate Risa, like/dislike Makoto, Slowbro.
9. 4th - Rika, Yoshizawa don't counteract Kago, Tsuji.
10. 2nd - Really fell off the map for me. Considering Mari, Sayaka were once favorites.
11. 8th - Junners and Linners were fine fodder, but this gen didn't need to exist.

When asking idols about their favorite idols, the quasi-idols in the grey area seem to get filtered out (Perfume, E-girls,...).
I suppose that's because they know the difference. The general public generally doesn't.
