Updated my list from the previous page (fixed typo and added Tsubaki Factory)
i just got to say that we have lots of high schoolers. With the addition of Yamagishi and Ogata R., the 2nd years are now at 13. With the addition of Niinuma, Tanimoto, and Kishimoto, the 1st years are now at 10.

Maeda (前田) is now the most common H!P surname. Four girls in the history of H!P have had the surname Maeda:
-Maeda Yuki (soloist)
-Maeda Yuuka (S/mileage)
-Maeda Irori (H!P Egg)
-Maeda Kokoro (H!P Kenshuusei)
The next most common surname is Ogawa (小川), with three girls having the surname:
-Ogawa Makoto (Morning Musume。)
-Ogawa Saki (S/mileage)
-Ogawa Rena (Kobushi Factory)
There are also three girls named Saitou, but two are 斉藤 and one is 斎藤, and Saitou Miuna went simply by "Miuna".

I only just realized this the other day while editing things. I'm sure it's been discussed somewhere before, but I don't remember reading about it. Now I want to go look at Morning Musume auditions. 
- Excluding the audition winners (including Fuyuka), 6 participants from the S/mileage second generation audition have gone on to become part of a group within current (2015) Hello! Project.
- Four of them were finalists.
- Four of them were unknowns before the audition.
- All except one went on to join the Hello! Pro Kenshuusei at some point after the audition.
- One other girl became a Kenshuusei but left before joining a group/debuting. She was unknown before the audition.
- Another girl became a NICE GIRL Project! Kenshuusei, and is currently a Hello! Pro Kenshuusei. She was unknown before the audition.
- One of them essentially ended up a member of the group later anyway, no audition required (lucky).
