The recruitment of a 2nd generation of Up Up Girls was announced at the Budokan, they are looking for girls aged 12-23. I'm unclear if this to be an addition to the current group or sister group or both. The reports are mentioning all of these options.

Huh, but so many if their songs reference seven colors, seven girls, etc. It seems like either several girls want to leave, or sister groups. I guess we'll have to just stay tuned. :0

Most of the time I don't have an age preference for new members, but if a bunch of 12-14 year olds end up winning the audition I think I would rather see a sister unit. There's just something about UUG these days. I wouldn't be bothered by new members that are 16+.

..Though it's time to go check the ages of my favorites just in case this means a graduation is incoming at some point next year.

It also seems to say that, even if you don't meet the qualifications, so long as you have the passion to not give up on your dreams, you can still apply. ^^;;
