its amazing how well Sayu knows her members.

this was after the tour already ended. a few weeks ago on Sayu's radio show, she was asked by a fan letter, who would you go on a date with? with Mizuki at an onsen, or with Ayaka to an art museum. She chose to go on a date with Mizuki to an onsen.

^ It's kind of a no brainer for someone like Sayu and Riho, and probably for everyone other than Harunan as well. :fear:

Just felt like some Aichan era Minimoni.

This PV had one of the most annoying intros of any H!P videos ever, but the song itself was pretty cute, and Aichan's singing was on-point:

Lucky Cha Cha Cha is notable for making Mika deliberately mispronounce "under the moonlight" for the benefit of the lil urchins who were their purported customer base. Probably my favorite Minimoni song.

Kazoe no Uta's PV makes me think of "Being John Malkovich." There's your non-sequitur of the day.

Mika's corny intro reminds me of this hot mess, but she is wearing the hell out of those tinted glasses in Crazy About You. Also known as the Minimoni PV starring Tsuji's midriff.

Bonus Remake: These girls seem to be channeling old-school Berryz Kobo more than Minimoni. I mean, say what you want about Takahashi's magical "Inflict Critical Unexcitement" effect on the group, but if nothing else Minimoni under her sounded good.

Technically she wasn't in Minimoni yet, but here's the infamous "Takitty" video. More importantly, the 4Kids are all still in H!P after all these years. That in itself is an amazing testament to the kind of employer Up Front is. For all its flaws it's like a family. That's probably why I care.

This might have been posted before, but... Riho with Nakamoto Suzuka (SU-METAL) during their ASH days (there's a few of these on this channel):

^ Suzuka Nakamoto is SU-METAL of BABYMETAL, for those of you who have ignored the BABYMETAL buzz. She's the one in the blue-green tie and skirt who sings starting at 0:31, 2:03, 3:26.

Riho is obvious, of course — red tie and super-teased ponytail. Same as today.

That ASH is quite the idol factory…

EDIT: Looking at the channel, they had several performances together. Wow.

Haha. Too bad Riho wasn't in this video. It's like a bunch of Koharu clones.

That goes to what was discussed earlier, regarding Koharu/Kirari being an inspiration to an entire generation of young idols and wannabes. That alone justifies her time with H!P.

Without Koha, Mizuki and Harunan most likely wouldn't be here, since she is what got them into H!P. Maybe they would have got into H!P in later years, but Sayumi should atleast thank Koha for that.

wait, why should Sayu specifically be the one doing the thanking (as opposed to fans of Mizuki/Haruna, or UF for the effect it had in bringing H!P to a new generation)? and why thanking Koha as opposed to the creators of the Kirarin series and whoever was responsible for making the deal/decision for Hello! Project to provide the leading character's voice actor?
