(also it's how you transliterate the japanese "ka" into english, not "ca" unless you are tsunku and decide "cono michi" XD)
No Berryz, No Life.
Please people, I'm a "he" not a "she".

This Japanese bass player also uses it in her stage name "YUCCO". I don't think it's that uncommon in Japan.

I think "c' just looks more fashionable and modern from a design point of view, especially when it's the unconventional form in places where "k" is used by default. Swedish uses "ck" where the other Scandinavian languages use "kk", and I feel like it looks more modern or something, but that might just be me.

^ Which is really funny because "k" looks more fashionable here in America. Hence Krystal, Kandice, Kandy. Hell, even my parents taught me to spell Becca "Beka" (They also taught me to spell "Becky" as "Becki" DAMNIT PARENTS) for my nickname, when my name is just straight up "Rebecca"

The America thing is super cool and a need as hell coincidence XD

For a not-very-good-but-reallywannabedifferent alternative, "q" might be an option:
Ameriqa
Yuqqo
Beqa
Qrystal
Qandice
Qandy
Iqubo Haruna
Fuqumura Muzuqi
Iquta Erina
Suzuqi Qanon
Sato Masaqi
Qudo Haruqa
Oda Saqura

And of course, just looking at that, I find myself caught between giving it a "kw" reading and a pinyin aspirated "ch" reading...

XD

IMO it's less a matter of fashion and more a simple fact of English orthography that you can easily replace a hard C with a K and it will still be pronounced the same. Whereas you can't usually replace a K with a C. The entire reason the K starts the word is in the first place is usually because a C would be unable to replace it in that position. Cnock, Ceg, Ceel, Cill, Cnight, Ciddy, Chaki and Cennel just don't look right in English...it's like doing a bad imitation of Welsh. Ceeping in mind the occasional caccoii exceptions like Celt.

I'm surprised I managed the second one. The angle they chose for it is a little weird, but thumbs up for the use of glowsticks as plants (I assume that's what they're supposed to be, anyway).

Sometimes Haruna goes to art museums, other times she goes the NASA-JAXA Space Expo.

It all depends on the company... ;)

3 slim tall brown girls could be a unit together and it would be vocally challenged and still epic.

I wish Haruna was my friend.
